About the trip
Three weeks, five countries, one car
A trip we first planned for 2020 and finally did in 2022. From the Czech Republic via Warsaw, winding through Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia up to the Gulf of Finland — and home again through Kaliningrad and Poland.
Us two and two kids, a boot full of Booking.com reservations, and the firm belief that it would be cooler up north than at home. We were wrong about that.
-
4,345 km
From the D1 motorway to Riga and back along the coast.
-
21 stops
Water parks, fortresses, Orthodox cathedrals, bog trails.
